This volunteer opportunity assists in setting up the SAC. This can include blacking out windows, hanging lights, painting signs, creating sets/props, assembling programs, setting up makeup tables and staging the backstage area (amongst many other things!). If you are signed up for the 2nd shift and will have your student(s) with you that are members of the production, please make sure they have activities to keep them quietly occupied. There will NOT be student supervision past noon.
Spring Musical 2025- Peter Pan Jr.
St. Junipero Serra Catholic School presents
This year, St. Serra Catholic School presents Peter Pan Jr. for the Spring Musical on March 14th and March 15th. Students in grades 1st through 8th are invited to participate. In order for our musical to be successful, we rely on the support, time and talents of our parents. We need volunteering assistance in various areas from set up to student supervision to ticket and concession sales, and more! If your child is participating in the musical, you are required to volunteer a minimum of 5 hours per child. This goes towards you 40 hour required volunteer hours. The 5 hours per child are required even if you have fulfilled your 40 hour service requirement.
ALL parents are required to assist with Strike the Stage after the final performance on March 16th.
Per Diocesan policy, all volunteers in contact with students must be fingerprinted through the Diocese and be up to date on their safe environment training. You will only see opportunities in Serra Cause Connect that you qualify for.
If you sign up, please be 100% committed to showing up for your time slot. We depend on you for the success of the show.
